Why should I buy firewood logs from LogsOnline?

At LogsOnline, we prioritize offering quality firewood and providing the best customer service. Feel free to reach out to us with any questions you may have. Our firewood logs are kiln-dried hardwoods and carry the 'Ready to Burn' certification by Woodsure, indicating their low moisture content of less than 20%. We source our logs from responsibly managed woodland, using locally sourced virgin timber with FSC certification. Whether you need a single net of logs or a bulk order as a wholesale retailer, our distribution center ensures prompt delivery.

What is 'Ready to Burn'?

'Ready to Burn' is a certification by Woodsure, the firewood quality assurance scheme. It guarantees that the firewood has a moisture content below 20%. The 'Ready to Burn' logo signifies that the firewood is suitable for use as wood fuel. Using wood with assured low moisture content results in 80% more efficient burning and reduced emissions.

Why shouldn't I burn wet wood?

Burning wet wood not only makes it challenging to start a fire, but it also releases harmful emissions such as soot, tar, and creosote into the atmosphere. These emissions can damage your wood burning appliances and lead to additional maintenance and costs in the long run.

Who owns Logs Online?

Logs Online is owned by Good Wood Distribution Ltd. We prioritize excellent customer service and product quality, ensuring the best experience for all our customers.

Are there any environmental considerations when burning firewood?

Burning firewood can release carbon emissions into the atmosphere. However, when sourced sustainably and burned efficiently, firewood can be considered a renewable and carbon-neutral fuel source. Choosing locally sourced firewood and using high-efficiency appliances can help minimize the environmental impact of wood burning.

How should I store my firewood?

Proper firewood storage is important to maintain its quality. It's best to store firewood in a dry, well-ventilated area, preferably off the ground and protected from rain or snow. A firewood rack or sheltered storage shed works well for this purpose.
